Header should start at the second page and shall skip the first page ?

Yes, it is possible to start the header from second page using Essential DocIO. We have prepared the sample to meet your requirement, in that sample we have used “DifferentFirstPage” header to start the header from the second page and attached the same for your reference. Please try running the sample and let us know whether it helps you?

As per Microsoft Word behaviour Essential DocIO supports the following header footer types. 
1.      First Page Header and First Page Footer 
2.      Odd Header and Odd Footer 
3.      Even Header and Even Footer 
We can set different header\footer based on page type (odd or even) and also set different header\footer for first page alone. Please refer the following UG link for more information about header\footer:
