Cannot enter search text on mobile devices and tablets

I'm using the Dropdownlist control, which works fine on a PC, but I'm having problems with using the control on mobile devices and tablets.

I've enabled filter search to filter the items in the list. Depending on the placement of the control, when I tap the search icon, it may allow me to enter the text in, but if the control is lower down on the screen, the keyboard that pops up on the device causes the search box to close and I cannot enter text.

Is there some option I need to set to work with this control correctly, or some way to work around this issue?

Hi Robert, 

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support. 

We suspect that the reported conflict occurs because of space adjustment in the landscape mode. That is on focusing the textbox, the mobile keypad exists and it covers the overall space,hence it might have close the DropDownList popup. Please share us the mobile device specifications and the orientation details to help you more effectively.

Hi Dhivyalakshmi,

The problem occurs in landscape and portrait mode on an iPad Air 2 (specs here http://www.apple.com/ipad-air-2/specs/), and also a Samsung Galaxy S4 (specs here http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_i9500_galaxy_s4-5125.php).
