Import PDF Text Into Edit Control

Q: How would I go about importing just the text of a PDF file into Essential Edit Control??

Quick Question 

 

I upgraded the Essential Studio to 14.2 from 14.1 

I opened my Solution and everything seemed to work fine. 

Can I delete the 14.1 install or is my app (which was created with 14.1 controls) locked into the 14.1 install??

Query 1: Can I delete the 14.1 install?

Yes, you can uninstall the unwanted version from your machine.

Query 2: Is my app (which was created with 14.1 controls) locked into the 14.1 install?

No, the application created in 14.1 will be absolutely compatible for higher versions.

For Example:

If you have created an application using Essential Studio Version 14.1 and later you upgrade to recent version, it will be compatible to its version. However, we recommend that you uninstall the older version, which is not needed. Please let us know if you face any problems, and we will help you.
