We are using incremental search on a dynamically created dropdown list control abd whenever we click into the search area (cursor shows) and click backspace, the browser goes Back.

We would like to suppress the backspace on keydown/keypress event (or any better suggestion) but can't seem to get the event to fire.

Could you plz assist?

Hi luke,
Thanks for using Syncfusion Products.
We are able to reproduce the issue” we click into the search area (cursor shows) and click backspace, the browser goes Back.”. We have confirmed this as a defect and we have logged a defect report for this. The fix for this issue will be available in our upcoming Volume 2 service pack release and it is expected to be rolled out at month end of July,2016.
Please let us know if you have further query.
