Starting in 2019, the Reporting control is no longer included in Essential Studio. If you're experiencing issues with the Syncfusion Reporting Platform, Report Viewer, Report Designer, or Report Writer, we recommend migrating to Bold Reports, our dedicated reporting platform.

Bold Reports offers a comprehensive suite of tools and features for all your reporting needs, and we will help you make a smooth transition from the discontinued control. Our support team at https://support.boldreports.com/ is here to assist you with any questions or difficulties you may encounter during the migration process.

We thank you for choosing Syncfusion and appreciate your understanding.

Assemblies folder missing

Hi,

In order to avoid conflicts and mistakes, I decided to uninstall all previous versions of the Essential Studio suite, and keep only the latest one (14.1.0.46 as of today).
Now the Assemblies folder is missing, it is supposed to be in C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\14.1.0.46\Assemblies, as stated in the documentation: http://help.syncfusion.com/lightswitch/html-client/reportviewer/create-a-simple-reportviewer

Current folders are:
Infrastructure
JavaScript
Samples
Utilities

None of the have the required assemblies.

See attached screenshot.

Hi Nicolas,

Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.

If we install Syncfusion LightSwitch HTML build alone, Syncfusion assemblies will not be installed in GAC and program file location (“C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\14.1.0.46\Assemblies”). We have referred the Syncfusion assemblies to the sample from the below system location for LSHTML,
%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Syncfusion \LightSwitch\$version$\HTML\Reference Assemblies

So, obtain Syncfusion assemblies from above installed sample location. Please refer to our below UG documentation for more details,

Regards,
