Load control with only watermark

Question

Hi I have NumericIpDown control on my page with watermark "please enter Temperature"

The problem is when page load control does not display watermark until and unless I focus the control and press clear button from keyboard.

Please guide me how I can show the watermark at page load.

By Default the NumericUpDown will have the value "0" if the value is not set. You can achieve your requirement by setting a Nullable value. We have created sample using Nullable<Decimal> binding and please download the same from the following link
