Hi Yanghao,
We are sorry for the inconvenience.
We are unable to reproduce the reported issue at our end. We are able to remove the Syncfusion controls from Visual Studio toolbox successfully while uninstalling Syncfusion Essential Studio.
We suspect that cache files are not removed properly from the toolbox and this might be the reason for this issue. Please follow the below steps to remove the Syncfusion controls from Visual Studio.
1. Close all Visual Studio running instances.
2. Remove the *.tbd files except the toolbox.tbd from the following location:
Windows XP:
C:\Documents and Settings(user name)\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\VisualStudio\{Visual Studio version}
Example:
C:\Documents and Settings(user name)\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0
Vista/Windows 7 and later:
C:\Users(user name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\{Visual Studio version}
Example:
C:\Users(user name)\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\10.0
3. Re-open the Visual Studio environment
4. Reset the toolbox.
5. Now Syncfusion controls will be removed from the Visual Studio.
If you still face the same issue, please share us the following details. It would be much helpful for us to resolve the reported issue at earliest.
1. Screen shot of the reported issue.
2. Visual Studio version in which the reported issue occurs.
3. Follow the steps suggested in the below KB article link and send us the zip file which consists of complete Syncfusion Installer logs generated by our tool.
