I am wondering if there is a way tht the user can rearrange the tab dsiplayed order, say by drag and dropping the tab to another position. Any workaround would also be very much appreciated.

We would like to inform you that we don’t have drag and drop support in SfTabControl for reordering TabItems currently and so have logged feature report regarding this.
