I am wondering if there is a way to automatically save the contents of an ejRTE control, either on a timed basis or for example when the control loses focus. The purpose would be to avoid having users lose content they have added, if they move to another page without clicking a save button.
The obvious way would be to use the blur event but this is not exposed by the RTE.
The change event would fire too often to be useful here, I believe.
