Create Alias Bookmark (same range as exsiting bookmark but with different name)

If I open up a document that contains a bookmark named Bookmark1 and I want to add another bookmark that serves as an alias -- it will have the exact same range as Bookmark1 but I want to call it Bookmark2, how do I go about doing this?

Hi Chad,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion products.

It is possible to insert an alias bookmark in the place of existing bookmark. You can achieve this by finding the indexes of BookmarkStart and BookmarkEnd of existing bookmark and insert new BookmarkStart and BookmarkEnd before and after the current BookamrkStart and BookmarkEnd indexes respectively. Here BookmarkStart denotes the location where the current bookmark starts and BookmarkEnd denotes the where bookmark ends. We have prepared a sample to illustrate this functionality. Please find the sample from below link and let us know if this helps you.

Please refer the below UG documentation to know more about Bookmarks:
