jQWidgets has a very handy Theme Builder used to create CSS themes in an easy-to-use, visual manner. Does Syncfusion have a similar tool? And, if not, could a CSS file generated from the jQWidgets Theme Builder be edited to be compatible with Syncfusion controls?

Hi Fritz Francis

Currently we don’t have Theme builder tools to create the themes for the Syncfusion control. And also our controls does not support the themes generated from JQWidgets theme builder. By default we have provided the following themes for our controls,

1.       Flat azure

2.       Flat lime

3.       Flat Saffron

4.       Gradient azure

5.       Gradient lime

6.       Gradient saffron

7.       Flat azure dark

8.       Flat lime dark

9.       Flat Saffron dark

10.   Gradient azure dark

11.   Gradient lime dark

12.   Gradient saffron dark

And also we can modify the default CSS rules in the ej.theme.min.css file to apply custom theme, you can find this file after installing Essential Studio in the following location.

CSS Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Syncfusion\Essential Studio\XX-XX-XX-XX\JavaScript\assets\css\web\XXX-XXX

Where XX-XX-XX-XX - version number and  XXX-XXX – Theme folder, the ej.theme.min.css file will be available in all the theme folders.

Please let us know if you have any queries.

Regards,

Madhu Sudhanan. P

Hi Madhu,

Thank you very much. While the manual CSS editing is perfectly sufficient, do you know if such a visual editor is on the drawing board?

Hi Fritz,

We will not provide support for visual editor and but we have logged the “Theme builder for JS controls” as a feature request and it will be available in any of our upcoming Volume release.

Please let us know if you have any queries.

Madhu Sudhanan. P
