Multiple Resource View in Schedule

Hi,

Can we have the schedule for multiple resources using the ejSchedule. We are looking for displaying a timeline kind of calendar view per resource.
So if we can have one more dimension for resources and it would be the schedule per resource view?

Hi Amarjot,

Thanks for using Syncfusion products.

We would like to inform you that we have already started implementing the multiple resources support in our Schedule JS control, therefore your requested feature for “Multiple resources” in Schedule JS will be made available in our next upcoming release Volume-2, 2014. Your valuable patience is appreciated until then. Our Schedule JS control with multiple resources will look as the one shown in the image, which can be downloaded from the following location,

Regarding your next query where you have requested for displaying a timeline kind of calendar view per resource:

Since we are not clear on this point, could you please confirm us whether you are in need to have different timeline view(displaying individual timelines with different start & end hour depicted per resource. For eg:- In the above image do you require, the resource Attendee1 to have individual timeline with specific start & end hours and the other two resources Attendee2 & Attendee3 to have another individual timelines with different start & end hours) for each resources? If yes, then we would like to let you know that we have not planned yet to implement that feature in our Schedule JS, but we will consider and implement it in any of our upcoming releases. If we have misunderstood your query, kindly provide us with more information on this point or with some screenshots depicting this particular requirement.

Kindly provide us with our above requested information, so that we can assist you better on your requirement. Also, please let us know, if you need any further assistance.

Regards,

Velmurugan

Hi Velmurugan,

Thanks for the response.
As shown in the screenshot, we need something similar to what you have in the image.

By timeline, I mean like in a Gantt, if we can have days grouped as weeks (where the number of weeks to show is configurable). Can the resources be shown on the vertical axis and both the time dimensions on the horizontal axis as we have in the image being attached?
The attached image shows what we are looking for.
PS: We need days instead of weeks and week instead of days in the screenshot I am attaching.

Also, when can we expect your next upcoming Volume2 release?
Also, if we can have some documentation for the Schedule control?

Query #1: By timeline, I mean like in a Gantt, if we can have days grouped as weeks (where the number of weeks to show is configurable). Can the resources be shown on the vertical axis and both the time dimensions on the horizontal axis as we have in the image being attached?

We would like to inform you that we have already started implementing the multiple resources support in our Schedule JS control only for Vertical mode and it will be included in our upcoming release Volume-2,2014. And also we have considered the mentioned requirements “MultipleResource in Horizontal Mode” and also the “Timeline configuration” as a feature request and we will implement it in any of our upcoming releases after this Volume-2 2014 release.

Query #2: when can we expect your next upcoming Volume2 release?

We would like to inform you that our next upcoming Volume 2 release will be roll out at end of the June 2014.

Query #3: if we can have some documentation for the Schedule control?

Currently we are working for this Schedule JS control documentation with high priority. We will publish schedule JS document in online as early as possible. Now we have prepared basic getting started document(without any content review ) for schedule JS control and it can be downloaded from the following location.

Hi Velmurugan,

The document seems to have some issue, it opens up as a blank pdf, can you please check if there is any issue with the file attached.

Also, one more query - in the present version of schedule control, is it possible to have the timeline view on the horizontal axis?
