Stopping a PopupContainer CloseUp

I''m creating a custom date picker control using the DateTimePickerExt and a PopupControlContainer.

The problem is that my popup control container includes a combobox and whenever an item from the combo is selected the PopupContainer closes. How can I prevent this from happening?
