toolbox installer
Using VS 2013 and Syncfusion 12.1.0.43 I am having trouble getting the toolbox to install correctly, no option to create a new syncfusion project, and when right clicking a project to migrate to the new version from v11 there are no syncfusion options.
"Syncfusion Reference Manager..." shows but is greyed out/non selectable.
This is a completely fresh install of windows 8.1 and vs 2013. No other versions of Syncfusion have been installed.

Hi Stephen,
We regret for the inconvenience caused.
Please find below the responses for your queries.
Q1) having trouble getting the toolbox to install correctly
A1) Close all Visual Studio running instances and run the ‘Toolbox Installer’ from the Syncfusion Dashboard to configure the Syncfusion controls in Visual Studio Toolbox.
Start->Syncfusion->Essential Studio 12.1.0.43 ->Dashboard ->Utilities -> Toolbox Configuration
Now, open Visual Studio and check whether Syncfusion controls are configured in Visual Studio Toolbox.
Please refer the following link to know about Toolbox configuration.
http://help.syncfusion.com/ug/common/default.htm#!documents/toolboxconfiguration.htm
Note:
i)If you are using Visual Studio Express Edition, then please refer the following link to know about configuring our controls in Visual Studio Express Edition.
http://www.syncfusion.com/support/kb/2328
ii) You need to reset the toolbox if the installed controls are not reflected properly in the Toolbox.
iii) Syncfusion Toolbox Installer do not have toolbox support for MVC controls.
Q2) no option to create a new syncfusion project, and when right clicking a project to migrate to the new version from v11 there are no syncfusion options
A2) Previously, we shipped the extensions in Essential Studio itself. Now there is an individual setup that contains all Syncfusion ASP.NET MVC Extensions for Visual Studio. It is available from Volume 1 2014 (v12.1.0.43) release.
You have to install the set up from the below location to use extensions.
http://www.syncfusion.com/downloads/extension/v12.1.0.43
This setup contains the following features.
1. New Project Wizard for ASP.NET MVC
2. New Project Wizard for ASP.NET MVC(Classic)
3. Conversion and Migration Wizard for ASP.NET MVC(Classic)
4. Sample Creator tool forASP.NET MVC(Classic)
Note: Before you install Extension Setup, you have to install anyone of the following studio. Please ignore this if you already installed it.
• Essential Studio for Enterprise Edition with the platforms ASP.NETMVC or ASP.NET MVC(Classic)
• Essential Studio for ASP.NET MVC
• Essential Studio for ASP.NET MVC (Classic)
Once you install this extension, you will create new Syncfusion project.
Q3) "Syncfusion Reference Manager..." shows but is greyed out/non selectable
A3) This is Visual Studio add-in for the platforms WPF and WinForms. It will be greyed out on other platform projects. You can find more details in the below link.

Please let us know if you need any further assistance on this.
