When Grid Grouping Control cell is clicked, it should expand like a dropdown and show the entire text

Hi,

I'm using grid grouping control and user can enter values for one of the column. I have following formatting for this column. All is working fine too.

wraptext = false;

Trimming = StringTrimming.EllipsisWord;

 

But I want some changes too. When the user click on the cell, cell should expand like a dropdown and show the entire text. (like it display on RichText). But I cant use RichText because user is not allowed to do any formatting. He should be able to enter just text. Please help me.

I am afraid that I am unable to reproduce the reported issue at my end.Because while you set wraptext to false the autosize property affect the cells width.kindly provide us  more details about  your requirement which would help us to provide better support.
