We have now purchased the Javascript controls bundle, and one of the projects we have lined up is to use the charting controls to allow our users to view their their data in a graphical format.

We are already producing JSON output from our reporting application, and would like to know if you have a generic chart builder planned ? This would work along the lines of letting the user select a data source (i.e. JSON data), then select the type of chart they wanted (e.g. line, pie), select the columns they want to create series for (based on the data source selected), the values they want to plot etc. etc. Other options for themes, titles, colours etc. could also be made available.

The options selected would be stored away so the chart could be automatically re-built based on the users selections at a later point.

Do you have anything planned along these lines ?

We can render chart based on the JSON data’s.  Please find the sample from the below link, that binds the JSON data to the chart series.

#Query 2:

Themes, titles , colors of the chart can be changed dynamically. Please find the attachment for the sample.

#Query 3: (Re-built chart based on the user selection)

Yes, it’s possible to generate the dynamic chart. Please find the sample from the below link.

Please let me know, if you have any further assistance.
