Is it possible to have a check box form field inside a document whose state (checked/uncheckd) is bound to a database merge field?
I need the checkbox form field to survive the merge process and be presente in the output document so that the document user may change the checkbox state if needed.

Hi Vinay,

Thank you for your interest in Syncfusion products.

No, it is not possible to have a checkbox form field inside a document whose state bound to a database mergefield. However during runtime we can change the state of a checkbox based on a database value. We have prepared a simple sample to illustrate the same. Kindly download the sample from the attachment and let us know if this helps you

Regarding the Checkbox form field to survive the merge process : Could you please provide us the input template document and your expected output document, so that we can better understand your requirement and update you with appropriate solution.

Note: Mailmerge process does not affect document formatting’s, it only changes the values of the mergeFields. We have illustrated the same in the given sample.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
