Good morning
We're evaluating DocIo in an our process that need to create .doc documents from a .doc model.
At the end of this process, we'd need to convert the final document into a .pdf file.
We read about your DocToPDFConverter library ad objects: how could we do to get it (since it's not distributed neither with Essential DocIO nor Essential PDF)?

Regarding “Doc to PDF conversion”:
To convert word document to PDF document, Both the Essential DocIO and Essential PDF products are needed. You have to add the following assemblies from Essential DocIO and Essential PDF to convert the word document to PDF document.

 

Syncfusion.Compression.Base

Syncfusion.Core

Syncfusion.DocIO.Base

Syncfusion.DocToPDFConverter.Base

Syncfusion.Pdf.Base

 

For your reference, we have prepared a windows sample to meet your requirement. Please find the sample from the below link. Try running the sample and let us know if this helps you.

Regarding DocToPDFConverter.Base library distribution:

Usually the DocToPDFConverter.Base library will be shipped along with Essential DocIO/PDF. If this library is not shipped with Essential DocIO/PDF build, Could you please provide Build version, Platform type and list of products installed for further analysis.

Hi Team,

I am converting RTF to PDF using 　Syncfusion.DocToPDFConverter.Base.dll 　(doctopdfconverter),　 using the base DLL PDF is getting generated successfully, however it does not display any drawing objects like line, bullets and numbering , shape etc. in PDF.

Below are the details of Syncfusion DLL :

Assembly Syncfusion.DocToPDFConverter.Base.dll, v10.403.0.71

We would like to inform you that currently DocIO does not have support for Shape preservation in RTF to PDF conversion. We have already logged a feature report regarding this.
