I want to have a tooltip for an EditControl, but the standard tooltip class doesn''t seem to work. I tried using Contexttooltips where e.ItemName = "" or null, but that only works if the editcontrol has at least some text in it. When my form initially opens (and the editcontrol is blank) the contexttooltip events don''t fire. Any suggestions? Thanks Andy

Hi Andy, Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We will investigate this issue to see if a workaround is possible. If not, we would log a QA report in this regard and try our best to fix this error at the earliest. We appreciate your feedback, and thanks for choosing SYncfusion.
