Overview
The Xamarin.Android Radial Menu control is a hierarchy of menu items in a circular layout. It can accommodate more menu items in a given space than the traditional vertical or horizontal menu. Its rich feature set includes functionalities like nested items, data binding, dragging, custom view, segmenting items, icon font, and item customization.
Data Sources
Data binding works out-of-the-box for the most popular data sources. The radial menu control can automatically generate its children layout based on data source hierarchy structure.
Nested Items
Populate nested levels of items within a menu to group similar actions based on their result. For example, you can group clipboard operations by adding Clipboard as the main menu and Cut, Copy, and Paste as its children.
Highly Customizable Appearance
Complete customization options help users tune the menu and its items, like coloring, sizing, placement, and shapes, using the segmentation option.
Avoid Icon Glitches Using Icon Font
The built-in icon font option helps users add vector images that prevent the control from experiencing any of the image glitches we often face with traditional image icons.
Segmentation
Define a number of segments to split the available rim space into equal ratios. Radial menu has options to place items as the user requires.
Drag Over Any Layout
Radial menu can float over the layout so as not to obscure content behind it.
