Pivot grid control is an easily configurable, presentation-quality business control that reads both OLAP and relational data. It is displayed with drill-up and drill-down capabilities along with KPI and named sets.

Effective Data Binding

Retrieve and bind both multidimensional data (OLAP) and relational data.

Drill Option

Pivot grid delivers a detailed view of any selected level member while drilling down and shows an abstract view after drilling up via expanders.

Key Performance Indicators

KPI is a collection of calculations associated with a measure group that evaluates business success.

Named Sets

Named sets are a multidimensional expression (MDX) that returns a set of dimension members, which can be created by combining cube data, arithmetic operators, numbers, and functions.

Member Properties

Pivot grid provides basic information about each member in each tuple, including member name, parent level, and number of children. These member properties are available for all members at any given level.

Loading-In Background

In order to have improved performance, long-running operations are done asynchronously on a background thread. This support is applicable only for relational data source.

Editing and Updating

Edit values at run time and save changes to the underlying data source, thereby reflecting its update in the total cells. This support is applicable only for relational data source.

Pivot grid retrieves information about a particular cell on a hyperlink cell click. It later allows you to perform custom operations programmatically.

Select a range of grid cells.

Grid Layout

View grid summaries in different ways, such as normal, top summaries, no summaries, and Excel-like summaries. This support is applicable only for OLAP data source.

Cell Template

Format the column header, row header, summary cell, and value cell of pivot grid.

Export the contents of pivot grid to Excel, CSV, PDF and Word documents.

Hiding Totals

Hide subtotals, grand totals, or both at column and row position. This support is applicable only for relational data source.
