My Current Role

I am part of the BoldDesk team, where I focus on maintaining the overall quality of the product. I work closely with the development team to improve product efficiency and ensure that every release meets our standards. I also guide the testing team in consistently following established standard operating procedures, helping maintain a structured and reliable testing process. My focus is on strengthening the product while supporting the team in delivering a consistent and dependable experience for our users.

About Me

I’m generally an outgoing person who feels comfortable meeting new people. I make friends easily, enjoy talking with others, and like creating a positive atmosphere wherever I go. Making others smile and helping them feel comfortable is something I naturally enjoy.

Outside of work, I like going on long drives and listening to music. They give me a chance to unwind, clear my mind, and spend some quiet time away from the usual routine.

My Career Journey

As a child, I had many dreams. I wanted to be a doctor, then a teacher, an air hostess, a beautician, and many other things! But after completing my degree, I began looking for a job and attended several interviews, though things didn’t work out initially. Eventually, I came across an opportunity at Syncfusion and joined as a Testing Engineer in November 2013.

The role was completely new to me, and initially, I felt a little lost. However, I received wonderful guidance from my seniors, especially Yuvasakthi. Her support made a big difference in my journey. She helped me grow both professionally and personally through her constant guidance and support. What started as an unexpected career path has become a journey filled with learning, new experiences, and personal growth. I’m grateful for how far I’ve come and hope to continue this journey for many more years.

Key Learnings and Challenges

When I joined the Infrastructure team, I had the opportunity to work across different areas, including Website, DT, Build, and Consulting. Managing responsibilities across multiple teams was challenging at first, but it gave me valuable exposure to different products and helped me build strong experience in manual testing.

Although managing different responsibilities was challenging initially, the experience helped me expand my knowledge, adapt to different projects, and build a strong foundation for my career.

A Moment of Recognition

Our team received wonderful recognition from Velusamy sir for our hard work, which motivated us to push even harder.

During the Lead training held at Mathura, Vijay sir gave us direct appreciation, saying, “I never thought we could achieve this much from manual testing.” Hearing that from a GM was incredibly uplifting for me and Michael!

Being recognized by senior leadership made us feel truly valued. Knowing that our efforts were noticed and appreciated by management meant a lot to us and motivated us to continue giving our best.

We owe a lot to Velusamy sir, who always believed in recognizing and encouraging his engineers. His support played an important role in helping us grow into the team we are today.

Don’t seek immediate appreciation; trust that sincere efforts will be recognized at the right time by the right people.

Gratitude Along the Journey

I’m especially thankful to Velusamy S sir for trusting me with responsibilities and believing in my abilities. I’m also grateful to Karthik E for his supportive leadership, which has consistently boosted my confidence and helped me navigate challenges.

Michael and Akash also played an important role in helping me settle back into work after my maternity leave. Since the product had evolved significantly during my absence, their support made it easier to get up to speed and reconnect with my work.

Above all, I’m grateful to my BoldDesk testing team for their dedication, willingness to go the extra mile, and understanding in different situations. I’m truly proud to be part of such a supportive team.
