On a personal level, my elder brother Kumaresan has been a strong influence in my life. As a government teacher, his clarity about responsibilities and family taught me practical lessons, especially about managing money and focusing on what truly matters.

Professionally, a few people have shaped my journey. Jaya Krishnan supported me during my early days and gave me confidence when I needed it most. Manoj inspired me through what he achieved at a young age, showing me the power of the right mindset. Mohamed Abdul Kader impressed me with his strong sense of design, balance, and attention to detail, which constantly motivates me to improve. Vijay Anand sir inspired me with his calm and respectful way of communication. His grounded approach reminds me of my own roots and the importance of speaking with respect.

Each of them influenced me differently, but together they helped shape my growth with clarity, responsibility, and respect.

To me, leadership is about genuinely caring for the team. It’s not just about appreciation words, it’s about guiding people, helping them learn, and supporting their growth. A true leader works to lift every team member to their best potential, so they can succeed and grow in their careers.

At the same time, leaders are employees too. Remembering this keeps us grounded, responsible, and more empathetic in the way we support our teams.

I worked as a mentor at Arena Animation, where I trained nearly 200 people, and more than 180 of them went on to secure jobs. That remains one of my proudest experiences.

After joining Syncfusion, I’ve had similar moments. Supporting team members in strengthening their fundamentals, watching their progress step by step, and seeing the roles they hold today gives me a deep sense of satisfaction and purpose. I’m the one worked with Manoj, we fundamentally created our new mobile application architecture, that we using for BoldSign and BoldDesk mobile app.

In 2016, when I was leaving Pixon Media, the Managing Director personally sent me an email that I’ll never forget. He appreciated my work, mentioned my leadership potential, and even added a GIF of people standing and applauding. I’ve saved that email ever since. It was one of the earliest recognitions in my career, and it continues to motivate me to keep growing and giving my best.

Sports have always been an important part of my life. I played cricket and volleyball, serving as captain for both teams, and became an inter-college chess champion in Coimbatore. Alongside this, I explored creativity by directing a short film, Arivurai Illai, and creating a 3D animation – The Love, a side of me many people may not know.

I genuinely enjoy my work, and it feels both engaging and fulfilling. Outside work, spending simple, happy moments with my family keeps me balanced and grounded.

There’s a funny incident I still laugh about. I once kept calling my friend Prabhakaran (we called him Pappu), but he didn’t answer. So I went to his house and found him peacefully sleeping with his phone on silent. I quietly switched it to loud, stepped outside, and called again.

He suddenly woke up in a panic and answered the call. When I asked where he was, he casually said he had come all the way to Coimbatore and was standing near a store. That’s when I laughed and told him, “I’m standing right outside the same store and your phone was actually on silent and I’m the one who switched it to loud “

The confusion on his face was priceless. Even today, remembering that conversation brings instant laughter and a big smile.

Before joining Syncfusion, I was leading a team of twenty in a digital magazine company. When I joined as a Visualizer, I initially saw it as a step down. Having taken on leadership responsibilities early in my career, I had developed strong confidence.

At Syncfusion, I expected my work to stand out immediately. But when my performance was rated lower than I anticipated, it became a turning point. My managers, Jaya Krishnan and Manoj, gave me honest feedback. They acknowledged my hard work but pointed out areas where I needed improvement.

That conversation humbled me. I began to see the “Visualizer” role not as a downgrade, but as an opportunity to reset and grow.

Today, I’m truly grateful to be part of Syncfusion. I’ve always believed that challenges are opportunities, and this journey has strengthened that belief, shaping me both professionally and personally.
