Earlier in life, I had a strong fear of speaking on stage. It was so intense that even at my own wedding, when I was asked to give the vote of thanks, I refused, because I couldn't imagine standing up and speaking.

The turning point came when I had the chance to speak at the Microsoft Build Conference, in front of a large audience. With encouragement from my wife, Stephen, Vijayanand, and my colleagues, I found the courage to face something I had always avoided. That experience showed me that with confidence and self-belief, I could stand before people and express my thoughts without hesitation. What once felt impossible became something I could face with confidence.

Early in my career, when I handled customer support, one of the biggest challenges was explaining issues clearly. We would often give detailed technical explanations, but many times that only left customers more confused. Over time I learned an important lesson: customers don't always need complex technical detail. What they truly need is a clear understanding of the issue and a simple solution.

That experience taught me the value of communicating with clarity and empathy. Today, with the support of AI tools, responding to customers has become much easier and more efficient, but the core lesson remains the same: the best communication is simple, clear, and focused on helping people.

To me, patience is essential in leadership. Meaningful results take time and require consistency and perseverance through challenges. Listening is just as important. A leader has to genuinely listen to the team, whether members are sharing ideas or raising concerns. Without that, it's difficult to work effectively together.

Taking over BoldSign was a significant change for me. Until then my experience had been mainly on the technical side, and I had never worked with the team before, so I had real doubts about whether I could manage it all.

During that phase, Stephen Jebaraj gave me a great deal of guidance and feedback. He spoke with me regularly and helped me understand how to move things forward. His guidance played an important role in helping me structure the team the way it is today, and managing multiple areas now is largely possible because of that support.

For me, success isn't defined by revenue alone. Sometimes someone I've never met, somewhere in the world, shares a positive comment about our product on social media. We didn't ask for it, and they gain nothing from it. They simply share their genuine experience. Moments like that feel rare and meaningful. When people independently speak well of a product they use, it reflects real value. Business growth and customer adoption matter, of course, but that kind of unprompted appreciation is what I truly see as success. Seeing BoldSign grow that way makes me genuinely happy.

Sports have always been one of my interests, especially cricket and badminton. I played regularly through school and college and into the early part of my career, and in my early days at Syncfusion, we even had a cricket team and played often. I also enjoy watching crime series. Once I start one, I tend to follow it episode by episode. Sometimes we watch a feel-good series together as a family over dinner, which has become a simple way for us to relax and end the day.

Photography is something I truly enjoy. It's a skill I taught myself, purely out of curiosity and a love of capturing moments. Over time, people began to appreciate my work, and that encouragement means a lot to me. What I love most is the immediate joy it brings. When someone sees their photo and says it looks beautiful, that moment feels very special, and it reminds me how powerful a simple skill can be in making others happy. People have even approached me to cover events as a paid photographer, which makes it all the more rewarding.

During tough personal situations, the management stood by me and helped me overcome those challenges with ease, and I remain truly grateful for their support. My friends have also been there for me in many ways during difficult times, and I'm thankful for everything they've done.

In my personal life, my wife has been a constant source of support. She takes care of our children and their education, which allows me to focus on my work. Her encouragement has always helped me stay confident and keep moving forward. My sister has also been a great source of motivation. She always brings positive energy and is my stress buster.
