My Current Role
I lead UX strategy across the Bold product ecosystem: BoldSign, BoldDesk, BoldSales, BoldBI, BoldReports, and our internal platforms. Under my supervision we introduced the design system that now underpins the BoldSign products, and I brought Figma into our UX workflow. Beyond UX, I also lead motion graphics and AI-advertisement experiences for BoldSign product, turning ambitious ideas into experiences that are effortless to use and built to last.
My Experience Throughout My Journey
This could include my life experiences, challenges overcome, personal growth, and lessons learned.
About Me
Curiosity has always been my driving force. I’ve always been the kind of person who pauses before making a decision. I like to understand why something matters, not just whether I want it. That habit shows up even in small things, like when I’m buying something. I think it through, compare, question, and only then decide.
By nature, I’m quiet and open up slowly, but with my close circle, I’m comfortable being myself. But silence has taught me to observe deeply. People, their reactions, choices, and emotions often reveal lessons that words cannot. Over time, I’ve learned that growth comes not only from speaking, but also from listening, noticing, and reflecting.
Early Dreams
My dream was to become a visual effects artist. From childhood I was drawn to fantasy films far more than ordinary ones. Harry Potter fascinated me so completely that I would imagine myself in that world and lose track of everything else. The idea that visual effects could bring impossible things to life amazed me, and that curiosity slowly grew into a passion. Watching Jurassic Park was another turning point. From then on, I found myself naturally pulled toward design and creative work.
Even as a child, I was drawn to anything visually beautiful. I still remember visiting a large park in Bangalore with my parents and becoming completely mesmerized by a fountain there. I stood watching it for so long, wondering how something so beautiful was made, that I eventually wandered off and got lost. My family found me later, but that moment stayed with me. Looking back, my fascination for design began earlier than I ever realized.
My Career Journey
My early fascination with fantasy films eventually shaped my career. I studied visual effects and began my professional journey by joining Rhythm & Hues, one of the leading animation studios of its time. Selection was demanding. Nearly five thousand candidates would apply, and only about fifteen were chosen from India across multiple rounds of interviews and evaluations. Because visual effects was something I truly loved, the process never felt difficult.
I had the chance to work on films like Life of Pi, X-Men, and several other Hollywood projects, close to twelve to fifteen in all. Being part of Life of Pi, an Oscar-winning film, felt especially meaningful, because it reminded me of the world I had dreamed about as a child.
Over time, my curiosity pushed me to explore design more deeply. I realized I didn’t only enjoy creating visuals. I also loved solving problems through them. That interest gradually led me into UX, and my journey in design has continued to evolve ever since.
People Who Inspired Me
My biggest inspiration is MS Dhoni. However the match looks, even when defeat seems certain, he never stops fighting until the very last ball, without worrying about the result. That calm, hopeful, committed attitude is something I deeply admire and try to carry into everything I do.
Professionally, my inspiration is Manoj. I first joined through motion graphics, but as my curiosity grew, I kept approaching him to explore other areas. He consistently encouraged me to try, learn, and push beyond my comfort zone. Those opportunities made a real difference. He let me work across different areas, understand what I genuinely enjoyed, and eventually realize that problem-solving and UX are where I truly belong. His support has played a major role in my growth, and I’ve learned a great deal from him, even in everyday idea discussions.
When something comes from within, rooted in genuine interest and passion, our best flows naturally, without being forced.

More About Me
Additional insights into my interests, experiences, and traits that shape my journey and perspective.
Finding a Sense of Belonging
When BoldSign was in its early stages and I was entrusted with building it from scratch, I understood the trust the management had placed in me. It was Vijay, our General Manager, who saw that potential early and gave me a place on the founding team. In many companies I might have worked on only a single module, with limited creative involvement. Here, building from the ground up gave me the freedom to explore, contribute ideas, and shape it. With that trust and ownership, I knew this is where I truly belong.
How the Journey Shaped Me
My journey has shaped me in many ways, especially through the responsibilities I have taken on over the years. Early in my time on BoldSign, I had the opportunity to work closely with Stephen Jebaraj, Bharath, George, and Manoj. Learning directly from experienced leaders gave me valuable insights into product thinking and helped me understand what it takes to build a product that truly meets users' needs.
As my responsibilities grew, my perspective changed as well. What began with a team of one has grown into a 23-member design team with a management layer that I helped build to support the team's growth.
Today, one of the most rewarding parts of my journey is sharing what I have learned and seeing others grow with confidence. Watching team members take on new challenges and develop their skills gives me a sense of satisfaction that is difficult to express in words.
Best Feedback
The best advice I’ve received is simple: whatever you give your attention to is what grows. If you dwell on problems, they get bigger. If you focus on something positive, that grows instead. That advice has stayed with me.
Since then, whenever something negative happens, I try not to let it take my attention. I focus on what I love and what I want to achieve, and that shift has helped me move forward with clarity and purpose.
A Challenge That Strengthened Me
During the early stages of BoldSign, I was handling almost everything: design, website work, and a constant stream of incoming queries, while new requirements kept arriving. The product started small, but as it grew, the development team expanded and the volume of work rose quickly. At that time I was the only person on the design team, and there were moments when the pressure felt overwhelming.
Things became more balanced as the team grew and dedicated people joined. When new members came in, I shared my experiences with them so they could handle similar situations with more clarity and confidence.
The most important lesson from that phase was about commitment. In the beginning, my instinct was always to say yes and promise quick delivery. Over time I realized that commitments should be made only after properly understanding the effort and time involved. Overcommitting affects both quality and creativity. Learning to pause, assess, and then commit completely changed the way I approach work and collaboration.
My Advice to Young Professionals
One thing I often notice today is the expectation of quick rewards. Many people hope success will come fast, without always being prepared for the effort and patience it requires. There is a strong focus on immediate results, and less recognition of the work that happens behind the scenes.
Those who understand that consistent effort leads to success, and that clarity makes a real difference, tend to go further. But when outcomes are expected without the willingness to put in the work, the journey becomes harder. Recognizing that success takes time, persistence, and effort is what truly helps in the long run.
What Stayed and Changed Since Childhood
One thing has always stayed the same: my connection with friends. From childhood until now, those friendships have remained strong, and my friends have always been a source of energy for me. In happy times or difficult ones, talking to them or simply being around them lifts my spirit. Even after marriage and with two children, I make it a point to stay in touch, in person or over a video call. It is something I truly value.
One thing that has changed is how I handle disagreements. When I was younger, I argued a lot whenever I strongly believed I was right. With time and experience, I realized that holding on to an argument just to prove a point rarely helps. Accepting mistakes and listening to others matters just as much. That shift in mindset has helped me grow, both personally and professionally.
Gratitude Along the Journey
My wife has been my biggest support. Having the right partner beside you brings a sense of stability and positivity, and I’ve felt that throughout my journey. Her support has given me the freedom to focus on my work, take risks, and pursue the things I love with confidence as I move forward.
Moments That Make Me Smile
One of my most memorable moments was a hackathon. Those three days were intense, exciting, and full of energy. We stayed day and night, constantly working, discussing ideas, and building things together. Alongside the work, we let our creative side loose and made small art installations around the office.
I still remember moments with JK and Manoj, collecting Pepsi cans and turning them into fun installations and creative pieces across the workspace. It was a perfect mix of serious work and playful creativity, and we were genuinely enjoying every moment. In the end we won, but what stayed with me most was the feeling behind it. That experience taught me that when you truly enjoy what you do and give it your whole heart, good things naturally follow.
