Hi,
I have problems with the annotation. For example, when I use the Export Annotation method "pdfViewer.exportAnnotationsAsObject()" with the signature annotation type, it is not exported. Isn't a signature considered an annotation type?
The other problem is related to stamp types. How can I define the username in the stamp types where "undefined" appears?
Regards,
Otto
Hi Otto Moura,
We don't maintain
signatures as annotations, so you won't be able to export the signature in the
same way as an annotation.
Additionally, you can customize the message shown in the dynamic stamp by using
the `Author` property of the `stampSettings`.
Below is a code snippet and a sample for your reference.
Code Snippet:
|
function documentLoading() { var viewer = document.getElementById('pdfviewer').ej2_instances[0]; viewer.stampSettings.author = "Syncfion User"; } |

Hi Sathiyaseelan,
Thank you for your reply.
I have some questions:
Hi Otto Moura,
|
Is it possible to change the language of the stamp |
Currently, it is not possible to change the language of the stamp annotation. Due to its dynamic updates, we cannot adjust the language based on localization. However, please provide your requirements and the reasons for needing to change the language of the stamp. We will review your request and determine if it can be considered as a feature. |
|
As well as the font color and background color |
The background color and font color of the stamp cannot be customized due to predefined images that are used for rendering. This behavior is intentional. |
|
Is it possible to creat a custom shape annotation |
We have already logged a feature request on "Add Custom shape annotation in PDF Viewer". This feature will be included in one of the upcoming releases. This is because we have planned various features and improvements in our roadmap. We will inform you once this feature is implemented. You can track the status of the feature from the following feedback link.

Hi Sathiyaseelan,
Thank you for your reply.
I need to set the language of the stamp because we have software that is used by customers who speak certain languages, such as Spanish, Portuguese and English.
When I choose the "Revised" stamp type, for example in Portuguese, I need the stamp to be generated in Portuguese.
When I use the code below to add a custom stamp with a base64 image, the added image cannot be resized only in width or only in height.
Is it possible to add a setting to allow the image to be resized only in width or only in height?
When I add an existing stamp type, I can resize only the width or the height or both, but when I add a custom stamp, I can't resize the width or the height, only both.
function addCustomStamp() {
var viewer = document.getElementById('pdfviewer').ej2_instances[0];
viewer.annotation.addAnnotation('Stamp',
{
offset: { x: 100, y: 440 },
width: 46,
author: 'Guest',
height: 100,
isLock: true,
pageNumber: 1,
customStamps: [
{
customStampName: "Image",
customStampImageSource:

}Is it possible to rotate the screen in the Pdf Viewer?
I can't find this tool in the documentation.
Hi Otto Moura,
Currently, we do not
support changing the language of the stamp annotation. However, we will
evaluate the feasibility of considering it as a feature request and provide
further updates by June 24th, 2024.
By default, we load
and resize using the aspect ratio. However, if you need to modify the width and
height separately, you can do so by pressing and holding the Ctrl key and drag
the annotation accordingly.
Please confirm
whether you want to rotate the PDF Viewer or just the PDF pages. You can rotate
PDF pages using the Organize Pages feature. Below, we have provided the
documentation and a sample for your reference.

Currently,
it is not possible to rotate the PDF Viewer itself. However, you can rotate the
PDF pages, which should meet your requirements in this scenario. We have
provided documentation and a sample related to PDF page rotation in the
previous update.

Hi Sathiyaseelan,
I opened a large PDF file to make some notes. I noticed that the annotation icon was disabled.
Is there a file size limit or number of pages to use the annotation types?
Regards,
Otto
Hi Otto Moura,
There
is no limitation for page size to disable the Edit Annotation option. However
we suspect that the Edit annotation option will disabled if the PDF document is
protected and restricted to edit. If possible kindly share the PDF document to
investigate the further.

Sathiyaseelan K
Hi Sathiyaseelan,
Thank you for your reply about the PDF limitation. That helps us a lot.
Well, I have another problem. When I choose any type of annotation in the "Sign Here" or "Standard Business" stamp and click on the "Export Annotation" button, the browser gets stuck and nothing happens.
Only with these types.
Could you check, please?
Regards,
Otto.
Hi Otto Moura,
We have checked the
export and import of annotations with the "Sign Here" stamps and the
"Standard Business" stamp, and everything worked correctly without
the viewer getting stuck. Below, we've provided a sample and demo of the export
and import annotations. Please review the sample to confirm if the issue
occurs. If you are still facing any issues, kindly provide a sample or demo to
replicate the problem.
