User Handle Tooltip Flicker

Hi

In the documentation for diagram user handles, the tooltip in this sample does not flicker as you move the mouse around

But in the stackblitz version it does (and it also does in my project).

I prefer the non-flicker version...any idea what the issue is?

We have modified the sample as per your requirement. To avoid flickering, you can remove the base style in the index.html file. Refer to the sample below:

Hi - I ran into an issue...if i remove the base style I no longer get symbols in the contextmenu for sub menus. (I also wonder if whether I will discover other issues later). Let me know what you think.

Reported Issue: Flickering of tooltip while hovering userhandle.

 

We can reproduce the issue and confirmed this as a defect. We have logged a defect report for this issue. We will fix this issue and provide the patch on 9th July,2024 weekly patch release.

Due to unforeseen technical challenges, the fix for the reported issue has not been incorporated in the latest weekly patch release. To address this, we have supplied a custom patch as an interim solution. However, we will include the fix for the issue in our upcoming weekly release which is scheduled to release on July 16th, 2024.

Hi,

Reported issue: Flickering of tooltip while hovering userhandle.

 

We have fixed the reported issue and included it in our latest patch release which is rolled out successfully.

Please upgrade to the latest version (v26.1.42) packages of the diagram to resolve this issue.

Root cause: While hovering over the user handle, the mousemove event gets triggered. This, in turn, triggers the checkUserHandleEvent function multiple times as the mouse moves within the handle. so, in mouse move event of user handle the tooltip is reopened for every movement.
