In the new version 25.1.38, if the document is not modified, it can be saved and loaded correctly, but if you mark some field as required and save the document, then you can not open it again... in the javascript console you get this error.

Hi Pere Argelich,

We apologize for the inconvenience.

The input document is encrypted, and handling issue fix within saving the PDF as incremental updated and archived stream is more complex than expected. As a result, we are unable to complete this issue within the original timeline. We are prioritizing this issue and will include the fix in the upcoming weekly release on July 3, 2024.

Hi Pere Argelich,

We have fixed the reported issue
"Exception occurred on resaving modified PDF" and the fix for the reported issue was included in our latest weekly release v26.1.40. Kindly upgrade to that version to get the issue resolved.

Root cause: During an incremental update, once the number of objects surpasses 100, subsequent object values are consolidated into a single archive stream, leading to the loss of form fill values preservation.

Solution:
After an incremental update, archive stream objects are now segmented, with up to 100 objects written per archive stream.
