Date formatting issue in pivot table ~ Split from 185974

Question

However, if the Year field is moved to the values and then moved back to the rows, the displayed date will be the original value, and the date format will not be based on the formatSettings.

inconvenience . We considered the reported issue as a bug titled “Date
formatting not maintained properly while enabling "DataCompression"
in Pivot table”. And the fix for the issues will be included in our in our
January 3rd weekly release, which is scheduled to be rolled out on
