Process the tree node operations using context menu in EJ2 TypeScript Treeview control

Hello, currently we are a customer of yours and we are using the fileManager component. In order to perform folder deletions on the tree side, we have managed to implement it. However, we would like that once the folder is deleted, the parent folder is selected and its contents are displayed in the grid. We have implemented the display of the contents in the grid, but we haven't figured out how to focus on the parent folder. I have searched the Syncfusion documentation but couldn't find how to achieve this. Thank you for your understanding

Hi Farouk,

Greetings from Syncfusion support.

We have reviewed your details and understand that the focus needs to change to the corresponding subfolder's parent folder while deleting the subfolders in the Navigation pane. Additionally, the folder should open, and its content should be visible in the View pane of the File Manager component.

We have prepared a sample and tested it on our end. We are pleased to inform you that the requested requirement is already the default behavior of our File Manager component. When you delete a subfolder, the focus automatically changes to the parent folder, and the folder content opens in the View pane.

To better illustrate this behavior, we have attached a video demonstration for your reference. We have also attached a sample and Physical File Provider for your further reference.

Sample : https://stackblitz.com/edit/angular-cneuqb-vkejsy?file=src%2Fapp.component.ts

Physical File Provider : Attached as zip folder.

Check out the shared details and get back to us if you need any further assistance.

Regards,
Suresh.
