PNG stamps dissapearing

My team is able to use the ejs-pdfviewer to make a custom stamp using a png image and add it to the pdf.
we then save the document to our blob storage without flattening.
if we open up this document in a pdf viewer all stamps remain.
if we open the document in the angular ejs-pdfviewer the only stamps that are missing are the ones that are png based.

attached is a zip with a pdf that has a stamp that disappears in the pdfviewer

The given PDF document opens properly similar to Adobe reader. We have verified this in our latest version 20.3.59. If you are using a older version, Kindly upgrade your version and let us know if the issue is resolved or not.
