Hi Syncfusion,

i just want to let you know that the font family and the text align doesn't save correctly. i checked the demo in pdfviewer angular ( Demo link ) and as excpected it doesnt work.

We were able to reproduce the reported issues, “Text align and font-family is not properly saved for FreeText annotation in the downloaded document”. We will analyze and provide details on June 11, 2021.

We confirmed that the reported issue, “text align is not saved in the downloaded document” is a defect and the fix will be included in our upcoming weekly NuGet release on June 29, 2021. You can track the status using the below feedback link,

Font- family are not saved in the downloaded document  
In the PDF Viewer component, we are using the Syncfusion.PDF library to process the PDF documents on the server-side. The Syncfusion.PDF library has the support for the following font-family alone.  
 
Ø  Courier 
Ø  Helvetica 
Ø  Symbol 
Ø  TimesRoman 
Ø  ZapfDingbats 
 
So, if we apply an unsupported font family in the UI then we will apply the default Helvetica font while saving the PDF document. As of now, we have planned to remove the unsupported font family from the PDF Viewer toolbar. 
and these changes will be included in our upcoming weekly NuGet release on 6 July 2021. You can track the status using the below feedback link, 
 
 
 
 
Meantime, could you please share the font family you want to use in your use case? We will analyze further based on your requirement.

Hi Azeddine, 
 
We have removed the unsupported font families from the annotation toolbar dropdown and the fix was included in our latest nuget weekly release v19.2.0.46. Kindly upgrade to that version to get the issue resolved.
