Ordered/Unordered lists - colour and indented numbering

I am wondering if the following is possible with ordered (numbers) and unordered (bullets) lists:
  1. Can the bullet/number change colour depending on the colour of the line?
Size works perfectly (ie. bullet/number size changes based on line size), colour should work exactly the same (at the moment, bullet/number remains black).

  2. Increasing indent on ordered lists seems to just use numbers but it's most common to first use numbers (eg. 1, 2, 3, etc.), on indent use letters (a, b, c, etc.), on further indent use small case Roman Numerals (i, ii, iii, iv, etc.).
Increasing indent on unordered lists works correctly with each indent changing the bullet to something different - need numbers to do the same.
Here is a video demonstrating my points above: https://www.loom.com/share/1e5746b976a74faf86c8548fd7f39156

Are the above two requirements currently possible, or able to be reviewed to be developed?

Thanks.

Hi

I just found an enhancement request for "complex ordered list" dated Sep 10 2020, now with 4 votes including mine. This will help with my point 2 above.

Another little issue, centering or right justify a bullet entry should (in my opinion) keep the bullet next to the text. Currently the bullet/number stays left justified.

I did only today notice the feedback section for feature requests. Should these requests be in there? Or is something like the colour on bullets a bug (considering size works as expected)?

Hi Julio,

Greetings from Syncfusion support.

We have validated your queries,

Query 1: “Can the bullet/number change color depending on the color of the line?”

We have analyzed the shared video and we are able to reproduce the issue from our end and we have considered “Ordered list number color not changing when font color is applied to the list in the Rich Text Editor” as a bug from our end and logged the report for the same and it will be included in the 2021 Volume 2 release.

You can now track the current status of the report, review the proposed resolution timeline, and contact us for any further inquiries through this link: https://www.syncfusion.com/feedback/25845

Query 2: “Increasing indent on ordered lists seems to just use numbers but it's most common to first use numbers (e.g. 1, 2, 3, etc.), on indent use letters (a, b, c, etc.), on further indent use small case Roman Numerals (i, ii, iii, iv, etc.).”

Currently, the Rich Text Editor doesn’t support complex ordered list, so we have considered “Support for complex ordered list in the Rich Text Editor” as a feature request from our end and logged the report for the same and the fix will be included with any of our upcoming releases.
