Filter Operators
Hello,
I need a "new" operator for the SfGrid / SfTreeGrid control:
How can I handle the use case to filter items with the condition NOT CONTAINS or NOT ENDWITH.
How can I handle the use case to filter items with the condition NOT CONTAINS or NOT ENDWITH.
As this feature may be needed for multiple grids I would avoid to implement this by hand for every control!
Greetings,
Bernd

Hi Bernd,
Thanks for contacting Syncfusion support.
Query: “How can I handle the use case to filter items with the condition NOT CONTAINS or NOT ENDWITH.”
Currently we do not have support to achieve your requirement to filter the column using not operators. We have considered it as an new feature and logged the feature report for the same. Thank you for taking the time to request this feature “Need to provide support for additional filter operators” and helping us improve our product. We are always trying to make our products better and feature requests like yours are a key part of our product growth efforts. At the planning stage for every release cycle, we review all open features and identify features for implementation based on specific parameters including product vision, technological feasibility, and customer interest.

Hi,
it would be very nice to be able to combine filter operators! Some requirements can only be solved with combining the operators!
It's not urgent but we can need this feature in the future definitely!
Best regards,
Bernd

Hi Bernd,
We suggest you to use the Custom filter option in Excel filter to perform filtering by combining multiple filter operators. With this you can combine filter operators to perform filtering in Grid.
