Missing mouse clicks

I am using sfRadialMenu on one of my apps.
Each item is made up of an icon and a short name.
When the input to the app is keyboard and mouse, all of my users are complaining that they have to click on the sfRadialMenuItem text, because if they click on the item icon or on any other space within the item the click is not registered by the control.
Is this normal? Us there any way of recognizing the click happening anywhere within a sfRadialMenuItem?

Thank you for the information. I will patiently wait until you have sorted out the problem.
I must also inform you that there was a small error in my complaint: you can also click directly on the icon in order for the click to be recognized.
