Mobile event click
hi there
I am currently using the scheduler and disabling the quick view ( showQuickView: False) and users can double click on an event on a desktop/laptop and the edit appointment dialog comes up. However, when i've deployed this and gone to use on the Mobile nothing happens.
How can i achieve the same functionality on the mobile as i do the desktop? ( single tap on an event is fine)

Hi Paul,
Greetings from Syncfusion support.
We have checked your reported issue “While clicking event with disabled ShowQiuckView , the edit appointment dialog doesn’t show in mobile” and in mobile, Scheduler shows the editor widow (edit appointment dialog) by long pressing an event or clicking the edit icon in quickpopup. Refer the below snapshot for that.
Kindly try the above sample in mobile in shared way and get back to us, if you face any difficulties.

Thank you - but what i am trying to do is the same as the desktop functionality. When they click on an event i want the Edit Dialog to immediately open, and now the quick view popup.
Is this achievable?

Hi Paul,
Thanks for your update.
We have validated your requirement “Open an edit dialog on a single click” at our end and few of the cases are distinguish between desktop and mobile mode to meet compatibility. So, we regret to let you know that the requested requirement is not feasible with the current schedule architecture functionality.

Only on mobile devices does it perform well. Will this function on my phone without any faults that I'm not aware of if I use it that way? Use of click is rather common on all online platforms. However, even when the user isn't using a mouse, the event will still initiate the normal mouse events
Please refer to the below UG regarding the Scheduler interaction.
