Hi Thierry,
Thank you for contacting Syncfusion support.
In the provided image, time duration for second appointment alone edited first. We suspect then detailed window is opened through Edit Series option (since the start and end time is 10.30 to 11.00) and clicking the Save button will display the alert where all the occurrence will be changed. It is default behavior based on google calendar.
Note: If detailed window is opened through Edit Event option, then the changes will reflect only on that appointment.

Hi Karthigeyan,
Thanks for you quick answer.
As you said, this is the default Google agenda behavior but on validation, Google agenda prompt for updating future appointments only or entire serie. this option preserve all previous changes made in the past events of the serie and only apply modifications for the future events.
Is it possible to implement a behavior identical to that of Google agenda ?
Thanks,
KK

Hi Thierry,
Thanks for you update.
Currently there is no option to edit future events alone and we will consider your requirement as improvement which will be included in any one of our upcoming releases.

Is there a workaround allowing us to perform changes we needs ?
Maybe an event to intercept this alert and preserve changes on past appointments ?
Thanks,

Hi Thierry,
Currently your requested requirement to ignore exception changes on already edited occurrences, while editing the entire series is not available in our Scheduler. As it is a valid use-case, we will consider this as an improvement feature and will include it in one of our upcoming releases. We would appreciate your valuable patience until then.
Regards,
Nevitha.

Hi Thierry,
Thanks for being patience.
The improvement ‘ignore edited occurrences while editing the entire series’ is included in our Volume 1 2019, beta release. You can check this in the following sample link.
Steps to check:
- Edit any of the occurrences of the appointment ‘Scrum Meeting’.
- Now, click on the ‘Edit series’ to edit whole series.
- In the alert window, clicking No will ignore the edited occurrences and only the remaining entire series will be changed.
- If you click yes, then the whole series including the edited occurrences will get edited.
Note: Your another requirement ‘editing future events alone’ will be included in our Volume 1 SP1, 2019 release and would appreciate your valuable patience until then.
Regards,
Nevitha

I don't see that there was ever added the ability to edit/delete future events only of a recurring event. Can you please show me where that is?

Hi Bill,
Greetings from Syncfusion Support.
You can enable the option to edit/delete the following events alone by setting true to editFollowingEvents within eventSettings. In the dataSource, followingID field maintains the id of its immediate parent once you edited the recurrence using following event option. In the shared demo sample enable the check box in the property panel to see the edit/delete the following events feature. Please refer the UG on this feature from the following link and let us know if you need any further assistance on this.
Regards,
Nevitha
