Syncfusion® Further Commits to Mobile Development with Xamarin.Forms

Research Triangle Park, N.C.—February 17, 2015— Syncfusion®, Inc., the developer solutions company of choice, announces the release of new mobile controls supporting Xamarin.Forms as part of Essential Studio® for Xamarin, as well as an e-book on cross-platform mobile development, Xamarin.Forms Succinctly.

Essential Studio® for Xamarin provides unique Excel, Word, and PDF file format manipulation libraries and flexible data visualization components for Xamarin.Forms. This release adds new gauge and chart types for mobile development, including a circular gauge, a linear gauge, and doughnut series charts.

The Xamarin.Forms Succinctly e-book introduces the concept of cross-platform mobile development to .NET developers. Author Derek Jensen focuses on mobile development in C# using Xamarin, and addresses the concerns particular to mobile development such as the constraints of a smaller form factor as well as limited CPU, memory, and I/O.

“We are thrilled to see the new features that Syncfusion® has introduced for Xamarin.Forms developers, including circular and linear gauges and doughnut series chart controls,” said Joseph Hill, Xamarin cofounder and director of developer relations. “With these new controls, as well as the addition of a Xamarin.Forms e-book to their popular Succinctly series, Syncfusion® truly highlights their commitment to our ongoing partnership.”
