Introduction

NexaQuanta designs, deploys, and scales AI solutions that enhance operations and improve profitability for enterprises. Based in London, the small company was founded in 2018 and continues to expand its AI and data services.

Problem Summary

NexaQuanta was using an Excel spreadsheet as its method of resource management. However, as the company grew, so did the spreadsheet. Many different managers had to keep going in and updating it, putting in “a whole lot of tedious effort.”

Therefore, the head of PMO, Saad Ahmad, proposed creating an app that would automate their resource management. He attempted to create a Gantt chart on his own using typical React functions but wasn’t getting what he wanted.

“I would highly recommend Syncfusion. It’s a plug-and-play library.”
– Saad Ahmad, Head of PMO.

BEFORE SYNCFUSION

Challenges

  • Using an Excel sheet to manage resources was tedious and time-consuming.
  • Building a Gantt chart with typical React functions was not giving desired results.

AFTER SYNCFUSION

Solutions

  • The Syncfusion Gantt Chart is significantly speeding up the creation of their resource management app.
  • The Syncfusion Gantt Chart helped automate resource management, saving time and energy.

Implementation

Saad Ahmad found the Syncfusion Essential Studio® suite for React.

“It was the eloquent way the UI was structured that brought my attention to it,” he said. “The Gantt Chart, the first time I implemented it, I just fell in love.”

Then he discovered that his company qualified for the free Community License, which was the deciding factor.

Future Plan

Saad plans to roll his resource management program out to 50 people and collect metrics for user acceptance and adoption. If all goes well, he and his team will expand the app to different departments, customizing it to suit their workflows.

He is starting to explore the Essential Studio suite and, seeing many other features he’s interested in, is looking forward to implementing them.

Conclusion

“If I was not using Syncfusion, I would still be building the Gantt chart,” said Saad. “I’m 100% sure about it.”

Instead, NexaQuanta’s resource management app is in the internal testing phase and will be rolled out in a few weeks. Saad and his team saved a significant amount of time on building the app that will save their company a significant amount of time on resource management.
