Introduction
Datamahout is a tech consulting firm in India that provides strategic business advice on topics like data optimization, analytics modernization, and AI adoption. It analyzes market data to inform its strategy recommendations and turns it into easy-to-understand dashboards to share with its clients. Founder and Partner Vipul Dubey leads the firm with almost 20 years of experience in data center design and strategy consulting.
Problem Summary
Datamahout builds data dashboards, reporting interfaces, and document generation workflows for its many clients. While the team initially used a handful of tools from other sources, they eventually realized that it was putting a strain on the work. “It was slow, it was hard to keep consistent, and honestly it pulled our time away from the actual analytical value the client was paying for,” Vipul said.
At some point, a colleague from a previous organization mentioned Syncfusion and its suite of more than 1,600 components for different frameworks, so Vipul looked into it and decided to consolidate.
“What I found [with Syncfusion] was that when I hit an edge case, I would actually get to a working answer quickly, either from the documents and the code samples or from the [Syncfusion] team.”

BEFORE SYNCFUSION
Challenges
- Disparate, scattered tools that made delivering impactful data analytics difficult.
- Dashboard creation from scratch each time a new client came on board.
AFTER SYNCFUSION
Solutions
- A unified component suite with document libraries that lets them make cohesive analytics dashboards.
- Production-ready components that make onboarding new clients a cinch.
Implementation
Almost instantly, Vipul noticed the difference. “It gave me the data visualization components, the grids, the file format libraries for Excel, PDF, and Word,” he said. “Most alternatives used to do one of those things well and forced us to stitch the rest together.” He and the team used Essential Studio to make their dashboards more consistent for each client, depending on Syncfusion’s reliability and support so they could turn their focus to providing insights to their clients.
Results
Vipul reports that Datamahout experiences:
- Dashboards that ship faster than ever.
- Simplified costs and licensing.
- A calmer, more focused team.
Conclusion
Vipul looks forward to implementing more interactive, client-facing dashboards in the future. He hopes Datamahout can automate more of its report generation to make it even easier to get into the details with its clients.
