Introduction
Jorge Pampin, CEO and Founder of Simergia Engineering, established the lean accounting and lean operations company in 1994 with the goal of helping companies adopt advanced logistics and production technologies. In doing so, Simergia Engineering has helped their clients develop data-driven strategies to hit their target costs and proactively manage their finances.
Challenges
Simergia Engineering has conducted in-depth financial and operations analyses for over 30 years. When you have as many clients as they do, it’s important to deliver detailed results in a timely manner. After one too many tight deadlines, Jorge decided to make a change. He needed ready-made, flexible components to provide power and usability to Simergia’s systems, so he turned to Essential Studio®.
Solution
Jorge used BI components from the Essential Studio® ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web Forms component suites to elevate Simergia’s systems to a new level of functionality.
The ASP.NET MVC controls library has 140+ modular UI components. Combined with the ASP.NET Web Forms toolkit, which has 75+ components, Jorge had 215+ UI components at his disposal for development. Initially, he found this intimidating. However, it didn’t take long for him to get used to the control libraries, and soon after, he was intuitively using BI components to enhance Simergia Engineering’s systems.
“Once I got used to the style of the components, the process became more fluid,” he said.
