My Current Role
I work as a Senior Product Manager, where I oversee the activities of the Install, DevOps, and Documentation teams. I also manage product releases to ensure we consistently meet quality standards. In addition, our team focuses on continuous improvements, and we handle the related development work as well.
My Experience Throughout My Journey
This could include my life experiences, challenges overcome, personal growth, and lessons learned.
About Me
I’m a calm and quiet person, especially when meeting someone new. But within my circle, I’m comfortable and open in conversations. I enjoy helping others and always try to support the people around me in whatever way I can. Being punctual is very important to me—whether it’s meeting friends or attending a function, I make sure to be on time. It’s a habit I’ve followed since childhood and continue even today.
My Career Journey
Until 10th grade, I didn’t have any big dreams. That changed when a computer center opened in my area. I was part of its first batch, and the friendly coach sparked my interest in computers. Although I wanted to pursue engineering, financial constraints led me to complete my B.Sc. and MCA instead.
After graduation, I attended interviews in Bangalore and Chennai before receiving an opportunity at Syncfusion. I joined in 2010 as a Support Engineer—my very first job. Since I had studied in Tamil medium, the role was challenging at first. Recognizing my coding skills, Karthi moved me to the Install team, where I found my confidence.
Over the years, I gained experience in both support and development. A word of appreciation from my manager, Velusamy, for my understanding of the licensing process meant a great deal to me. Looking back, despite the initial challenges, Syncfusion has become a place where I feel safe, valued, and able to grow.
My Inspiration
Professionally, I remember a time during licensing work when I was mentally exhausted and couldn’t focus even on a simple task. I called Vijayanand sir and explained the situation. Even though it was already late at night, he came to the office for us and stayed throughout. He didn’t question or pressure us; he simply stood by us and helped us move forward. He understood that continuous work without rest isn’t practical and even arranged additional support from another team so we could complete the pending work with some relief. That level of understanding and leadership is something I truly admire and carry with me.
On the personal side, my biggest support has always been my mother. She worked tirelessly to raise and educate us. Her strength, resilience, and determination have deeply influenced the person I am today.
The greatest success is not avoiding failure but rising stronger every time we face it.

More About Me
Additional insights into my interests, experiences, and traits that shape my journey and perspective.
Key Learnings
Earlier, I used to focus mainly on finishing the work that was assigned to me, without giving much importance to planning. Because of that, I sometimes faced delays. Over time, I realized how important proper planning is. Now, before I begin any task, I take time to analyze and plan it carefully. This shift in approach has helped me grow both professionally and personally—for example, I plan my monthly expenses in advance, and at work, I make sure every feature is executed with a clear and realistic timeline.
My Personal Achievement
In life, I’ve mostly handled things on my own without expecting much help. From completing my education and securing a job to buying land and building a house, I worked steadily toward each milestone independently. I also took responsibility for my marriage and my brother’s marriage. From a young age, I naturally stepped forward to carry responsibilities. My mother has always been supportive, but I felt it was important for me to take ownership.
The Value of Guidance
Growing up, I didn’t really have anyone to guide me. I sometimes feel that with the right guidance at the right time, I might have progressed even further. That’s why I make it a point to support the people around me in ways I didn’t experience. I’ve guided my brother through his studies and career decisions, and whenever someone approaches me for career advice, I share whatever guidance I can with genuine care.
Bouncing Back from Tough Times
Whenever I face a problem, I first take a moment to pause and clear my mind instead of reacting with worry. Once I feel calm and composed, I think through the situation carefully and plan the next steps. This approach helps me stay balanced and make thoughtful decisions, and I consciously try to handle challenges in a calm and calculated manner.
Memorable Appreciation
One appreciation that meant a lot to me came from Velusamy. At that time, there was a licensing issue that another engineer had been working on for more than a week without being able to resolve it. The task was then given to me just before lunch, and I was able to fix it in under an hour.
Velusamy appreciated the quick resolution and expressed strong confidence in my understanding of the licensing process. That recognition meant a lot to me and gave me greater confidence in my work.
Life Beyond Work
I enjoy spending my free time driving out with my family. On most days, I try to finish work by around 6:30 and dedicate the evening to them—sometimes going out for dinner or visiting my mother’s house nearby. Making time for family during the week is something I value a lot.
On weekends, if there are no family plans, I usually meet my friends and play cricket. That time helps me fully relax and clear my mind.
A Phase I Would Relive.
My favorite memories are from childhood. Back then, we didn’t have the responsibilities we carry today. No matter how difficult things were, my mother and grandmother never let me feel the hardship. Even though we didn’t have much, there was always happiness at home.
