Finding Clarity
Somewhere along the journey, panic gave way to clarity…
12+ Years
My Current Role
I manage the organization’s enterprise Network Infrastructure, Network Security, Cloud Infrastructure, Cloud Security, and Compliance functions. I oversee the Cloud Infrastructure, Network Infrastructure Security, Cloud Infrastructure Security, VAPT, and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) teams, providing strategic leadership across six internal teams. My responsibilities include ensuring the security, availability, resilience, scalability, and compliance of the organization’s enterprise infrastructure and cloud environment.
My Experience Throughout My Journey
This could include my life experiences, challenges overcome, personal growth, and lessons learned.
About Me
I’m an ambivert and a grounded person, and I’ve always been curious by nature. I enjoy learning new things, and the urge to keep discovering more is always there in me. I want to travel a lot and explore new places. I love spending time with my family and friends, and I play cricket almost every weekend with my group.
My Career Journey
I started my career as a Network Support Engineer and progressed through roles including Support Engineer, Network Administrator, Network Team Lead, and eventually Network Manager.
As the organization and technology landscape evolved, the Network Manager role expanded into specialized areas, including Cloud Infrastructure following our cloud migration, Cloud Security, and Compliance. Each brought its own responsibilities and challenges. Over time, I took responsibility for managing these functions together under a unified leadership approach.
Managing multiple disciplines simultaneously has been challenging, but it is also what I enjoy most. I have always believed in taking on challenges rather than stepping away from them. When given a new responsibility, my first response is never, “I can’t do this.” It is, “I’ll try.” Once I take ownership, I am determined to see it successfully.
My philosophy is simple: embrace challenges and stay open to learning. I approach responsibilities with the belief that I can take them on, learn along the way, and discover what is possible through the effort I put into them.
Bouncing back from tough times
For me, the people – Daniel sir and Vijay sir. Their support and guidance are the reason I’ve been able to come out of tough times. Whenever an issue comes up, they never show anger or pressure. The way they speak itself gives confidence. When we feel low, we tend to panic and worry about what to say, but their calm approach helps us stay calm too. From the beginning till now, their support has been the same, and because of that steady guidance, I’ve been able to regain my confidence each time and come back stronger. Their support is what helped me build that resilience.
What success means to me
For me, there’s no single or final definition of success. It’s not one destination. We keep moving through it, and along the way we experience many small successes in whatever we do. Taking care of our family and making sure they don’t struggle is a success. At work, finishing something meaningfully – not just for the sake of finishing – is also a success. When we complete our work and the people receiving it feel satisfied, that is success.
Be honest, be loyal, and don’t rush. Growing too fast is never good. Take your time, understand things well, and move forward one clear step at a time.

More About Me
Additional insights into my interests, experiences, and traits that shape my journey and perspective.
How the Journey Shaped Me
Syncfusion is where I learned how to manage people, get work done, and align the team’s goals with the company’s goals. I can see how much I’ve grown, both technically and as a leader. I also learned discipline and strong work ethics here. Syncfusion gave me a calm mindset. Before joining, even small issues would make me anxious and stop me from thinking clearly. But here, I got the freedom to think, and that changed my mindset. Now, when a problem comes up, I’m able to stay calm and look for a solution. That shift is something Syncfusion brought into my life.
People who influenced me
Throughout my career and personal journey, there have been people who have influenced how I think, work, and approach challenges.
Vijay sir has been an important mentor in my professional journey. As my General Manager, he has guided me through different stages of my career and helped me see situations from a broader perspective. His guidance has taught me the importance of taking ownership, making thoughtful decisions, and continuously growing as a leader.
Kailash has influenced me through his dedication. His commitment to what he takes up, consistent effort, and focus on his goals have always inspired me. His dedication reminds me that success is not just about talent or ability, but about staying committed and giving your best when things become difficult. I also genuinely value his advice.
I believe the people around us shape us in ways we sometimes don't realize. Some teach through guidance, others through their actions and values. I am grateful for those who have influenced my journey and continue to shape the person and leader I am becoming.
My Inspiration
My first inspiration in life is my parents. It’s very personal to me. They went through many struggles just to make sure I could study, and they are the reason I’m in this position today. That gratitude is always there.
Finding Clarity in Chaos
When something goes out of control, I sometimes feel confused, frustrated, or angry. In those moments, I usually take a short walk, look at something relaxing, or talk to my friends. Conversations with Kailash, Nishanth, Nagaraj, Vicky, and Hari often help me look at a situation from a different perspective and give me the clarity I need to figure out what to do next.
I also keep a few things around me that carry personal memories. Each one has a story and reminds me of different moments in my life.
For me, finding clarity doesn't always mean immediately finding a solution. Sometimes, it means stepping away for a moment, talking to the right people, and giving myself the space to see things more clearly.
What Stayed Since Childhood
For me, it’s fear in the sense of, “If I don’t learn this now, what will happen?” That feeling pushes me. It may look like curiosity, but it’s more of a fear-driven need to understand things. Whenever new technology comes up, I want to learn it. From childhood till now, that one thing has remained the same. Whether it’s technical or anything else, if someone mentions something new, I won’t leave it without understanding it. That quality has stayed with me all these years.
My Perspective on Leadership
People Management is very important. We need to understand people and their real struggles. Leadership isn’t just sitting and saying, “Finish this, submit that.” We have to see things from their perspective - their thoughts and their mindset. Everyone thinks differently, and we need to try to understand that. We shouldn’t be overly administrative; we should lead with empathy.
Work Life Balance
When it comes to work–life balance, I’ve never faced any issues at Syncfusion, even from the beginning. Once office hours are over and we are done for the day, work doesn’t spill into my personal life. I don’t have to continue working after going home. At Syncfusion, we have that space and a good environment.
What Keeps Me Going
What motivates me are the goals we set. At work, choosing something challenging - something that helps the company and teaches me something new - gives me motivation. I also use a lot of apps to stay focused: Habit Tracker, Focus To-Do, Pomodoro timers, and simple to-do lists. Every night before I sleep, I check what I need to finish the next day and plan it out, so my morning feels easier and I don’t feel overwhelmed. I’ve also set up my work environment in a way that feels comfortable to me, almost like being at home, and that comfort keeps me motivated.
Life Beyond Work
Music is one of the things I enjoy when I want to relax, and dancing with my daughter is probably my favorite way to unwind. We often dance together, and those moments are something I really enjoy. I also like playing cricket with my office mates when I get the chance. Outside of that, I enjoy driving and going out with my friends.
How the Journey Shaped Me
Throughout my time at Syncfusion, I’ve noticed a change in the way I handle my emotions. I used to get angry more easily and could sometimes come across as rude, both at work and in my personal life. Over time, I’ve become calmer and more patient in the way I respond to people. I’ve also become softer and more polite in my interactions. Looking back, learning to stay calm has been one of the changes I value most in myself.
