Syncfusion Essential Studio Subscription FAQ

What happens when my subscription ends?

Do I need to recall anything I’ve already shared?

Nope! Anything you’ve distributed outside your organization can stay as is, unless it relates to the SDK products below.

What do I need to do internally?

You’ll need to remove Syncfusion software from your systems and applications.

Can I still use or support apps that include Syncfusion software?

Not without an active license. You won’t be able to use, distribute, or maintain those apps unless you replace the Syncfusion components.

What if I want to keep using or fixing an app after my subscription ends?

You’ll need to swap out Syncfusion software for something else before continuing.

Is there anything specific I should know about the Document SDK?

Once your subscription ends, you must ensure no new documents are created, whether internally or externally. This includes any applications you’ve distributed outside your organization.

What about the PDF Editor SDK, DOCX Editor SDK, and Spreadsheet Editor SDK?

After your subscription ends, there must be no continued use of any application that contains these SDKs. This applies to both internal use and any apps distributed externally, including use by programmatic end users and non-programmatic end users.
