Creating custom cell types in Silverlight Grid

Hello,

is it possible to create custom cell types which are using standard Silverlight controls in the Silverlight Grid? We want to create some new Buttons and in-cell diagrams.

Do you have an example how to use i.e. Button or ProgressBar Silverlight controls in your Grid?

Thanks,

Marcel

Hi Marcel,

Thanks for using Syncfusion Products.

Yes. We can create custom cell types using standard silverlight controls in the silverlight grid and you can achieve this in two ways.
First one is by creating a DataTemplate and the second one is by creating a Render class for the control.

We have also prepared a sample for this by using DataTemplate for a ProgressBar and render class for a Button.

Please find the sample under the following location.

Sample : http://www.syncfusion.com/uploads/redirect.aspx?file=ProgressbarButton_f7f6b57.rar&team=testingftp

Please let us know if this helps.

What's the easiest way to do the same (place custom controls) for the GridControl in virtual mode?
