Hello,

Help does not work properly for me on a machine running Windows7 64bit, VS2010 SP1 and a SQL Server 2008 R2 (with CU7) Developer Edition.

Whenever trying to start DExplore (2008), i get the following message:
---------------------------
Microsoft Document Explorer
---------------------------
Microsoft Document Explorer cannot be shown because the specified help collection 'ms-help://Syncfusion/sfClassref' is invalid.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

On the same machine (unchanged environment except Esssential Studio) version 9.1.0.20 worked without problems.
SQL Server BOL and other applications using Document Explorer 2008 work as expected as well.

The ExcelLikeEditing in the ASP.NET GridGroupingControl does not seem to be working properly. Using version 9.1.0.24 I would click on a cell, edit press the TAB key and it would go to the next cell. Now it doesn't do that AND your online demo doesn't work properly either.

I continue to pressing the TAB ksy and after six times it lands on a button on my page and then the next time ends up in a column but not the next column - it actually skips a column.

Essential diagram line routing does not work properly.
"DistanceToObstacles" property of LineRouter and "TreatAsObstacle" property of Node has no effect.
I just upgraded from version 8.4.0.10 to 9.2.0.137.

Thanks for the reply.

It can be reproduced if you follow like below.
1. put two rectangles on a diagram and set both rectangle's 'EnableCentralPort' property to false.
2. Make custom position port such 'MiddleLeft' & 'MiddleRight'.
3. Try connect using orthogonal connector.

Youngjin Kim

Thanks for the update.

I figure out the difference between version 8.4.0.10 & 9.2.0.137.

Case detail)
- Only two rectangle in diagram property 'enableCentralPort' property false
- No obstacle node between these two rectangle
- Make 'MiddleLeft' & 'MiddleRight' port each rectangle
- Connect them with orthogonal connector

1) 8.4.0.10
- Orthogonal Connector default value of 'LineRoutingEnabled' property is fase
- After make connection between these rectangle I need to change the 'LineRoutingEnabled' property to 'true'.
- After change property the orthogonal connector, it reroutes and 'DistancetoObstacle' property make effect.
- Orthogonal connector change its direction from 'DistancetoObstacle' value.

2) 9.2.0.137
- Orthogonal Connector default value of 'LineRoutingEnabled' property is true
- I changed 'LineRoutingEnabled' property value true to false and false to true several time.
- The orthogonal connector does not reroutes and 'DistancetoObstacle' property has no effect.
- Orthogonal connector change its direction from rectangle right side without 'DistancetoObstacle'

Could you please check it again and let me know if there's something wrong or my misunderstanding for the line routing.

And sorry for my poor English...

Regards,
Youngjin Kim

Hi Youngjin,

Thanks for the update.

The LineRouting behavior is changed in 9.2.0.137. The connector will be re-routed If there is any obstacle node's bounds intersects with it's bounds.
In your case the OrgthogonalConnector bounds doesn't intersect with both the rectangle bounds. You can see the difference of line routing when you add an port at MiddileLeft of first rectangle and connect it with second rectangle's MiddleLeft port.

Please let me know your concerns.

Pandi Murugan A
