I have a GridDataControl to display netsted rows of Data. I want to export the grid data to Excel. I am using the function, DataGrid.ExportToExcel( ExcelVersion.Excel97to2003)
When clicking the export button, i am getting the following exception "Dialogs must be user-initiated".
If I drag some columns to the Grouping area, and then tried to export, "In this case it is exporting alternate main rows ( not nested rows) not all the rows".
In some cases, when I click export button, the scree freezes.
In some cases, I am getting the exception "Specified argument was out of the range of valid values".
Any setting needs to be changed. Please advice. Appreciate your support.

Thanks for the details.
1) The exception window shows up when you have the Silverlight project in "Debug" mode, this is because of security the Silverlight FW itself throws an exception. Can you try that in "Release" mode and see if that works?
2) Export issues with grouping - Can you please create a DirectTrac incident with the forum post details? We will be filing a bug report and follow-up with you on the details.
