LoadSoap of diagram, saved for the previous version

Hello, I'm in process of upgrading my application, using version 4.4. to version 8. I'd like to ask, if it is possible or how it is better to restore diagram from xnl SOAP files, saved for previous version.
Now it shows message box with the text that some type is unknown. After that diagram becomes unusable - Model member is null.
