Accessing all settings of MERGEFIELD

Hi,

I can access Textbefore and TextAfter and TextFormat properties of a MERGEFIELD.

What about checking for MERGEFORMAT switch?

Leads to a more generic question,how complete is FIELD support in DocIO? Can I create and extract all field types and switch settings?

Tim

Hi,

How is the sample relevant to my question?

I am asking about WField/WMergeField, not form fields.

The main question was, how can I check for the MERGEFORMAT switch in a Word Field e.g.
{ MERGEFIELD "Test" /* MERGEFORMAT }

And how can I programatically add the /* MERGEFORMAT to a field definition when generating a document.

Hi Tim,

Thank you for your update.

Sorry for the long delay in responding.Currently DocIO do not have support for programatically adding the mergeformat in the document. It can only preserve the mergeformats in the document.We have created the sample for your understanding.Could you please find the sample from the below link.Try running the sample and let us know if this helps.
