NOT highlight FooterRow

WPF Edition GridControl v7.3.0.20

We have a static grid, user is not allowed to edit directly in the grid, can select a entire row. We have requirement to show the summary row as well, that have been done by using FooterRow property available in GridControl.
If user selects any row in the grid that row will be highlighted in different color, but how do we disable the selection of the FooterRow. (i.e. FooterRow should not be highlighted even if user clicks on that Row)
